1962 – The Beatles perform at the Star-Club, Hamburg, West Germany.

1968 – John Lennon and Paul McCartney, in the U.S. to promote their new company, Apple Corps Ltd., give interviews throughout the day at the St. Regis Hotel in New York.

1970 – The Beatles’ movie “Let It Be” has its world premiere in New York. None of the ex-Beatles attend. The film opens in the U.K. on May 20.
